We come from La Paz.
Puno is a city that at first glance is extremely messy and has the air of a large slum, although La Paz is much worse.
As I wasn’t used to it, it was a little difficult to adapt to the style, but as the days went by, it became easier to understand and accept where we are.
In Puno, the main attraction is visiting the floating islands (Uros and Taquile) in Lake Titicaca.
The main island and the Uros islands are about 30 minutes away by boat.
Urus is actually a set of small islets made of totara (reed).
The totara is a plant that grows in the waters of Titicaca and is used to build floating islands, houses, boats, etc., in addition to being edible.
