Pula is the largest city on the Istrian peninsula and is known for its large number of Roman buildings and ruins.
In summer, another great attraction are the beaches of the Adriatic Sea.
One of its biggest attractions is the Roman Amphitheater, (like the Colosseum in Rome) which was built with the aim of hosting fights.
The city has a great tourist structure, lots of commerce like shops, bars and restaurants. Other attractions are the Triumphal Arch of Sergi and the Temple of Augustus.
It is a tourist spot for Europeans in the summer.
We spent the day getting to know the center and its attractions.
The other day we went to visit other beaches, one of the most frequented and that of Ambrela is a gravel beach, shallow waters, with a complete range of beach services, high safety index and water quality standard.
Surrounded by century-old trees, clean sea and very cozy located in the Bay of St. John.
We found a spot in the shade of a tree and enjoyed the beach.
To enter the water it is always good to be tired, as there are many stones.
Walking we arrive at Brioni beach, where the edge of the beach is made of concrete and there is only a narrow strip of small and round stones, but the water is super crystal clear.
After lunch we stayed in the shadows of the trees enjoying a swim with the little fish.
