On Sunday, May 7th we will be hosting our 1st Annual Family Fun Day to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. From 12-4 families can bring their own food to enjoy games, chalk and of course, beer!
We have made an exclusive beer for the event, “Ronald’s Pale Ale” and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. 30 Mile is thrilled to be hosting such a great event for such a worthy cause.
For over 30 years, the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut (RMHCT) has opened its doors as a “home away from home” for families and their critically ill children who are receiving life-saving medical care in Greater New Haven.
The cost for RMHCT to provide accommodations and accompanying services to a family is $100 a night. While families are suggested to contribute $15 a night, over 63% of families served in 2016 were unable to afford even this modest fee. No family is ever turned away due to their inability to pay! Thanks to the generosity of those who supported RMHCT last year, RMHCT was able to provide 2,753 nights of services to families in need.
Through your generous support of our “home away from home,”
we can work together to forever change a child’s life.
Our great friend, The Drunken Baker, will also be joining us for this event. She will be providing some delicious, kid-friendly treats for everyone to enjoy. Mark you calendars and see you all on Sunday!
